Phase to Phase, how does it happen?
We so look forward to receiving anyone onto the programme, and for that to happen we need the first step to be an application form.
Application:
Once your application has been received our referrals team will start to find out more about your specific requirements and give you a telephone interview to get to know you more.
If this all goes well and the feedback we get is accurate, the referrals team will start coordinating a joining date with you and the Phase 1 manager.
Phase 1: Admission
Our 12 bed Loughborough centre hosts this Phase and whilst your time here may be short before you move up to Phase 2, it plays an integral part of the process as you adjust to day to day life without substances or alcohol and also adjust to the programme structure. It may last between 2 and 12 weeks.
Phase 2: The main programme
To move to Phase 2 you will need to be clean and sober, having adjusted to the Phase 1 programme sufficiently and be committed to the change that you want to see in your life.
Phase 2 is at our 29 bed residential centre at Six Hills. This Phase is more structured than Phase 1, with more group and individual sessions, facilitating gym and home visits, as well as brushing up on those home living skills like cooking, cleaning and budgetting! This Phase usually lasts 16 to 26 weeks and is the end of the main programme, with Phase 3 being an optional extra.
Phase 3: Move on
To move to Phase 3 you will need to pass an interview with the Phase 3 team, where they will talk to you about what you aim to gain from Phase 3. Phase 3 specifically aims to see you back in active employment or education that leads to employment and the Phase 3 team will spend time with you weekly helping you achieve this. This Phase can last up to 18 months depending on an individuals progress, though many complete a successful move on from Phase 3 into their own accommodation in a much shorter time.
