The Carpenters Arms & Football
Meet a bunch of really enthusiastic guys who love kicking a football around!
Many of our staff and residents love to play football. Each week residents from all three Phases, staff and volunteers try and get together to have an hour-long game at a local leisure centre. Those that don’t play provide team support or go for a walk.
Some Phase 3 residents and staff are also members of local football teams.
Richard Spence said. “Along with the passion that goes into a friendly hour of football we found that our residents respond better to team sports, gain pride and develop camaraderie. Relationships with each other always seem better after a game of football and the banter is not something to be missed.”
