Food Parcels
Giving out Food Parcels to some very needy families
Pastor Daniel Ispas explains…
The feeding programme known as “Adopt a Friend” is run by Pastor Daniel Ispas. They feed 38 families who are in real need of basic commodities every month. Most of the funding needed for this is sourced from the UK.
Our team had the privilege of assisting him in his monthly round of delivering these parcels to these families. The team was impacted by the simplicity of life, the enormity of the need and the generosity of Pastor Daniel and his church who don’t just help their parishioners but as many as they can in their area. When we returned our team was trying to work out just how much they could, personally, contribute towards this worthy scheme on a monthly basis.
What would you expect to see in a kitchen?
When we delivered a food parcel to an elderly lady one of our team had a look in a box next to her stove, and he saw a box of chicks. It was a lovely reminder of just how simple life in this part of Romania can be
