Applying for the Carpenters Arms
The following information is about who is eligible to be a resident at the centre, and the application procedure.
If you are interested in applying to become a resident at the Carpenter’s Arms, or know someone who is, please follow these steps:
Step 1 – First, look through the House Rules (or click to download)
Step 2 – If you are happy with these rules, please complete the Application Form
Step 3 – We will contact you when we receive your application form and set up an interview.
Step 4 – We will hold an interview with you, either by phone or in person.
Step 5 – We will take your application before the team and send your medical questionnaire to our Doctor for approval
Step 6 – We will let you know a suitable time for you to move in if you are successful.

We provide rehabilitative support to men aged 18-65, who are homeless or threatened with homelessness.
We receive referrals from a number of sources, including:
- Probation services
- Churches
- Other rehabilitation centres
- Self referrals
- Prisons
